Before you start reading, grab a chilled drink and a box of tissue – trust me, while reading this epic post you’re going to need both as we go. Indeed, within just a few years, Katie starred in dozens of videos for some of the best studios in the business including Elegant Angel and New Sensations. One of the ways you can tell that someone has been successful in entertainment is by checking out how many accolades they’ve been nominated for and received. To be specific, Katie Morgan has been put up for ten major awards spanning a timeframe between 2003 and 2020. Not only that, but Morgan was inducted into the adult industry AVN Hall of Fame, and also won Mr. Skin’s Best Porn Star Gone Hollywood for her performance in Zach and Miri.
Between her many earned awards and fame, plus all of the many jobs she’s worked to get those accolades, is it any wonder that Morgan is one of the richest porn stars in the universe?
Her career after porn is rather riveting – as is her return (!)
As I have documented in not one but rather two posts, there are many examples of people who saw even more money, career opportunities, and adventures after porn…and then there are those who didn’t.
Sometimes this is because of their celebrity status and/or obvious acting ability in the former case. In the latter, former adult industry performers have a hard time getting any work in “acceptable” lines of work. Yeah, as it turns out, there still is a stigma around being in the best occupation ever.
When it comes to Katie Morgan, she quite, fortunately, had no problem getting hired by the mainstream entertainment industry while in the industry and after leaving it. Not only that, but she positively thrived after her (temporary) departure from the sex business. She’s done all sorts of work including starring in documentaries, been featured on radio shows, and been hired as a podcast personality.
Officially, Morgan left the porn business in 2018 seemingly forever – until, thank the sex gods, she returned looking just as good as when she got started.
